  • How quickly can you get to me?

    Our average response time across Derby and the surrounding towns is around 30 minutes. If you are central to one of our covered areas (Derby, Belper, Ripley, Swadlincote, Ashby) it is usually closer to 20 minutes.
  • What are your opening hours?

    We operate 7 days a week, from 7am to 11pm. There is no separate weekend rate — the price is the same whichever day you call.
  • Do you give a price before you start work?

    Yes — but not over the phone. Every job is different, so we don't quote blind. We come out, look at the actual work, and tell you the price before we start. You only pay once the job is finished.
  • Will you have to drill the lock?

    Almost never. Drilling is a last resort — most lockouts are resolved with non-destructive entry techniques, meaning we open the lock and leave it working perfectly. We always try this first.
  • Are you licensed and insured?

    Yes — fully insured for £2 million public liability, DBS-checked, and aligned with Master Locksmiths Association standards. We can provide certificates and proof of identity on request.
  • Do you fit insurance-approved locks?

    Yes. We supply and fit high-security, insurance-approved mortice locks and anti-snap euro cylinders. We'll advise on what's needed to keep your home insurance valid.
  • What payment methods do you accept?

    Card (contactless and chip-and-PIN), bank transfer, and cash. Payment is taken on completion, once you are happy the job is done.
  • What services do you offer?
